What is guqin?

Common answers will be, a type of music; part of a culture; a kind of lore; a way of cultivation...

But to me, it is a form life style.

I think most people have been seeking their dreams all their lives. Maybe it is a person, maybe it is an object and maybe it is a philosophy or spirit. Some people eventually find what they are looking for, others perhaps never do. I was very lucky when I was young. The first time I heard guqin music I thought it was what I really wanted in life. I think everybody has three faces. One is the face other people see, one is the face he or she can feel and the third neither he or she nor other people can not see but maybe that is the real face. I think the guqin is the object which can see my real face. When I p

lay the qin, I am very relaxed and I feel as if I am communicating with a good friend.
